Av. Glicério will host parade of samba schools on Sunday

Carnival samba schools of Campinas (SP) starts this Sunday (15) with the parades on Avenida Francisco Glicério in the center, from 20h. In all, 10 associations will occupy one of the city's main roads between Sunday and Monday (16).

Schools of the Special Group opened the catwalk of samba. After passing the block Afoxé Ibaiô and King Momo greetings, queen and princesses carnival, parade Golden Eagle, States from Shanghai, Silver Rose, Lions Village Padre Anchieta and States of Villa Rica.

The second will be the turn of schools battling the title in the Access Group. The Afoxé Omi Winged block prepares the public for the passage of associations Empire of San Fernando, Renaissance, States do Paranapanema, Morning Star and Ponte Preta Greater Love.

Evaluation and awards

Ten jurors will evaluate every detail that schools take to the avenue. The criteria that ensure points are front commission, fantasies, Sambra plot (lyrics and melody), master of ceremonies and flag bearer, plot, harmony, drums, musical wing, evolution of the set and prominent allegories. The grades vary between 5 and 10.
On Thursday (19), from 14h to 17h, will be announced the results and awards in Sports Gym Roge Ferreira, located in São Bernardo.
The three placed first lead prize money. For the Panel, £ 30,000, £ 20,000 and £ 10,000 respectively. In the Access Group values ​​are £ 8000, £ 7000 and £ 6000 for the champions.

Health and Safety
